The majority of the conflicts, on the personal level alone, surrounding sexual identity and experience is a result of how our societies approach sexuality, and I think that needs to be adjusted. If more of an effort to do so was made, I’d assume more than half (but not all) the male population would possess the potential to enjoy some sexual acts with other men. The sensations themselves are not that foreign, but how we compartmentalize everything in our heads is governed by laws which are not rationalized by the sensational aspect of sex. I wouldn’t be so radicle as to say they should be, we’re not animals, we have the ability to step outside of sensation and for good reason. However, I feel this rational needs to be adjusted. Contemporary conflicts and turmoil, regarding identity that is, call for an adjustment. We’re seeing more and more exploration and expansion in sexuality- and the current system doesn’t have the answers. I just realized I’m ranting, so back to your questions….

If this adjustment was made and minds were open, I believe most men could enjoy at least some sexual acts with other men. The sensations alone most people could enjoy without the mental block. 70% maybe???

As for the emotional aspect, platonic relationships prove the idea of more is at least somewhat possible. Add the sex to it, I think WAY less of the population is capable of what gay men can have. Because now you have to factor in attraction, and a great number of other things FAR more complex than sensations- which I won’t get into on tumblr. 

That there would be my off and on boyfriend. Going to school in another country really complicates an already complex open relationship.
